about me

originally from greensboro, nc, this writer doesn’t let being southern get her down! after graduating from depaul film school with a bachelors of fine arts in film and tv with a concentration in screenwriting, i’m following my dreams and headed to show-biz! with a passion for TV and stories about women and LGBTQIA+ people, my scripts tend to be comedies based in a twisty, fun, and very buyable (if i may say so myself) premise.

to support myself during college, i worked as a tutor, receptionist, and mentor at my school's writing center. my senior year, i co-showran and executive produced my pilot Stealing the Show, our proof of concept pilot entitled "Pilot Season," this had been a project that i head wrote with my best friends over the entirety of my college experience, through a club called depaul's TV incubator, where I also served on the board. my pilot and all six written episodes have been submitted to various film festivals, including austin film festival, where we made it to the Second Round - only 2,000 out of 10,000 scripts make it to this point annually. i also am the second listed writer on depaul's school funded short film, "The Day I Had An Exorcism," set to film in june 2024. additionally, I have a background in development, having taken internships with Austin Film Festival, Incognegro Productions and American High Studio, where I worked reading, writing coverage, pitching, and creating one pagers, working directly with development executives. needless to say, i love collaborating!
